This beautiful Art Deco/Roaring Twenties figure Gatsby was made by Austin Productions Inc. in 1974. This statue was designed by the Czech-American sculptor Klara Sever (born 1935). The figure is signed and dated on the pedestal. The figure is made of cast plaster and have a terracotta finish. The man's face is very masculine and expressive. The depictions of this figure is in the style of the 20s.
Due to the wonderful patina and the small traces of use, the figures have a very special vintage charm.
